Bangers and lash

Sat listening to Alexisonfire with a cup of tea and mm's, so lets get this done

3 gym sessions (mon, wed, thurs)
2 Swimming (tues,thurs)

Gym = an endless list of strength stuff, bench press being the most manly and 30 minute cross trainer sessions (at 16-20 difficulty) + 3000 metre rowing sessions to replace jogging as they dont put any stress on my legs, The doctors is this wednesday to sort that all out

Swimming = 40 minutes continual lengths

Throw in 6am starts, more house work and here we are, little to say i'm really sore right now but i shouldn't complain its really paying off, good times
Bits inbetween for this week:

  1. Tuesday - Hannah and Greg popped over, which is always good, I may be being lame at home as of recent but its nice they still make the effort to pop by for a cuppa every so often, i really do appreciate it as i think it keeps me sane ha
Chris came over after, ... i made that sound so less appreciated then but i see him every few days and as i owe him money for the uber nike's from ages ago .. still, Got the Dominos in, custom made man pizza of Just meat. although never guess who delivered it... Rob Tyreman. lols
  2. Walking the dog most days, as he can now adventure outside having had all his jabs etc, its a whole new world to him, so where ever i go its slow ... every 5 ... seconds he ... stops ... to ... sniff or ... listen to ... noises ... like reading this it just requires patience, patch was the same to begin with
  3. Finally saw Avatar, last post sums it up. yeah id explain more to why its awesome but i'm a pretty shit film critic. I basically like everything from Ace Ventura to Saw to Juno, as long as its not dreadfully awful ill happily watch it, that and you, yes you whos reading this, you've probably seen it months before i have anyways so you know what its like ha
  4. http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/pages/Hey-I-was-drunk-so-that-makes-whatever-I-did-totally-okay/333081607813
This needs to be tryed and accomplished (the picture) pt is the best setting, plastic cups and cheap beer, anyone up for taking up the challenge soon?
  5. Given up fb, at least the chat for the last week, now going all the way for the next month or so unless its urgent, just because its to addictive and im on it to much, especially for bejeweled, ITS COMPETITIVE
  6. ill try to keep this up still but tbh its going to be a repeat of the top paragraph until i finally go to the interview so doubt i will post for a while

Something i found as well which is epically old now, enjoy

Also something more recent, its not as funny as the first and a friend created a group for this on fb so most have seen it but still

Anyways, 6am start and all
Night

Simons Cat

Red Blue or possibley some Yellow?

I'll try and do this quick as im babysitting and want to go back on war of the monsters with jenny, which is and always has been the best game ever invented for the ps2, no doubt. ill also skip the topic of the election for another day, as i'd be on it for a while

Anyways, Tuesday - Thursday = nothing of interest tbh, with not working I've been enojying the sun ... well when i havent been landed every household job you can think of along with babysitting. if i dont manage everything perfectly the "epic speech" comes along too. The epic speech is something most people go through, a simple trivial argument with one slip of the tongue, or sly comment will result in every topic known to man coming up in an argument thats beyond unnecessary, my solution = well first get my alarm clock back off her (mum stole it to use for cakes, then calls me lazy when i dont get up early, its a vicious cycle) second get the fudge out the house more ha but still bad times

Got chatting to the painter in the week (as he came to finally paint the hallway) and claim to fame he used to be in a band with Paul Kodish aka Drummer from Pendulum ... Win and owned his own studio in bicester, even recorded one of the albums to the young knifes before the studio went under, hence the painting career i guess but thought it best not to ask, but chatting he introduced me to two things that have cured boredom till i go back to the gym tomorrow, Kill Generation, hour long episodes following us marines into iraq which is my kind of thing but then on the topic of south park, as every good conversation gets on to, he told me about "princess", apparently its epically old but still.

Trey and matt (writers of south park) where asked to do an Internet show, they didn't want to do it, so said they would only do the show if they could broadcast it without anyone seeing or editing it before hand... they agreed to do 39 shows ... princess was cut half way through the 3rd episode when they couldnt take anymore.
Episode one / Episode two ... little to say its not family viewing.

Friday, i got payed

well final wage not tax rebate but enough to get most things done. Droped the bike off on cowley road to get fixed and had a few hours to kill so headed to the army surplus shop and Got the 85L Bergen. Its a replica instead of a real one but only difference is a real bergen the pockets detach and its build to a higher standard, thats it, i plan to fill it with sand bags and train with it so doesn't really matter, the price difference however £60 - £175 ... yeah, ill put the picture up soon

then hit up primark as im in desperate need for new clothes, most of my clothes are still xxl from the old days, i however am not anymore ha but gap jumper to the people who know me well will sum this up, then sports world for running shoes, good times and on route back to the bike shop is G&D's, it had to be done.

Today, 6am start as usual, 2l of water as usual, fitness, then have been on the phone for most of it

  1. Booked the Doctors, to A) remove the lump on my face B) work out the problem with my leg, although i think its shin splints, its the same musclen as described, its the most common injury from running with flat feet and running with topman shoes cant of helped, it also takes an age to heal which isnt helping, lucky though i didn't put more stress on it as it says continued stress can lead to a fracture. bad times
  2. Sorted out orange, as my phone wouldn't text
  3. Sorted out sky as they are charging us to much for sky movies
  4. Delt with my bank for charging me for no reason, also finally upgraded my account to have a debit card, win
  5. this is all trivial to the fact im missing out on more war of the monsters time ha

God holy knows, Why i let you in

Today, I told a friend things would never change, we wont lose touch and we will make the effort, its me and him...

Thinking back on it tonight, whilst watching oceans 12 with a cup of tea this is a lie and i know it regardless of effort.

Ive always been brought up around change, Ive moved around a lot, biggest being from Shropshire to oxford (for age 9 this was big) lived in 5 different houses, been at 6 different schools and well you get the idea, I'm pretty used to it

Every time I've been back to Shropshire though, its great, don't get me wrong but everyones moved on, there doing different things and they have changed over the months i haven't been there. one of the happy family's i knew is split up and ones in Canada, ones a brick layer, another does free running ... ive missed out the steps inbetween and there personality's have changed to go with it, its just as if I'm hanging out and having fun with strangers that i dont really know anymore, alright given real men don't use the phone for more than 3 minutes and shropshire people don't use fb/msn/own a computer as they are country bumpkins so there isnt much contact on those months which doesnt help but still

one of my fears is knowing this is most likely to happen if i get in to the army with most Oxfordshire people, basically a repeat.
ive already lost touch with some being off at uni, one inperticular i really miss talking to properly, then id be gone for 28 weeks (7 months) and if successful on this, be based in Colchester.

however this isn't whats keeping me up at the moment, from my 18th onwards im barely a shadow of who i used to be back in school
my biggest fear isnt coming back to strangers, its coming back a stranger myself, that if you gave a new name to and maybe a fancy hat, you wouldn't recognise if i passed you in the street.

Anyways i think the phase "man up" could be inserted a few times into it but still, here's some music for getting to the bottom of a post where i think about bad topics i shouldn't, this is one of many days recently ha theres a lot of topics, but its still up in the air and anything could happen, its just whats on my mind so yeah, caught this band on the reading line up and remembered i still have there songs from back in the day, here's one of them

"What the fuck have you done lately?"

I'm sat pulling an all nighter in an attempt to get my body clock back into sync to getting up at 5am, that and i think im the only one nowdays to keep up with blogging, although given i have the time i guess at the moment ha, having a lot of time this will probally be a bit long as i have at least an hour to kill

besides this and keeping up with the news (speak of which best fb group, "
Well, the Icelandic volcano's still blowing Ash. Unlike Cheryl") im lost as to what to do with myself until the end of the week when i get payed as i don't work anymore, which is a weird feeling to have and now all i need to progress is the money, everything else in me is ready to up and go

i'd go into more detail about army stuffs but im done talking, im up for doing

but im making good use of the free time, first off

Also in the process of going from pussy to man, he destroys a guys face with a keyboard, win, stars angelina jolie and morgan freeman too ...

Almost ...

Bowling for Soup - Almost

xo

All day and all of the night...

Theres the video i was trying to post a while ago as well, i'd completely forgoten about the cat flying out of nowhere too haha

another epic win is my hayfever hasnt returned yet, enphasis on yet but in the mean time :D

as for the last week?

Friday was hannahs birthday/talia's leaving thing but spent most of this adventure with richard, had pre drinks with him and then hit up the jericho tavern where everyone was which was cool, as ive heard about it but never been, besides being expensive its nice and just reminded me of port meadow times as its only round the corner, however trying guiness jd and vodka, in one glass was not cool ha i forgot richard can put away spirits ... i can not ... so this is where it all got a little messy, red lion, pt and bad danceing were involved but ill save the details but just a shame i didnt spend more of it with harry and talia and said a proper goodbye :/ never the less she will have an awesome time in south america anyways :)

Sunday ... woke up to richard :P but started the man day with some bad company 2 then headed over to argos, as richards is in botley went to meet up with mum and buy a bbq (saw joe in argos too and had a catch up) i then built the bbq, i cooked on the bbq and ate most of the food on the bbq ha the only thing that was missing was a novelty apron ... so does anyone owe me a birthday present? haha but pork chops, steak, burgers sausages, bacon you name it we had it along with deserts, pure win then spent the rest of the day recoering, well i say that i just had a few more beers to keep the hangover off but it was just such a relaxed day in the sun with family friends

Bridge monday, after pre drinks in red lion headed on down and i find it funny that all the bouncers there know me by face now and ask how im doing, this cant be a good thing but yeah basically had good times as the "four" where reunited for bridge, this being me, pennington, curry and sam. when they realised it was my birthday at midnight ... there was a lot of shots across the bar ... i dont want to see tequila in a while ha and i dont think i got home till about half 5 -6am? this being after drunken duck chaseing of course with melissa steve and harry, That and me and mattie now have a new game of being annoying, Photos unaware! ha weather in mid conversation, or saying there name so they look or if they just turn around, nail a picture ha ive yet to put mine up so ill do it today. oh and incase you havent seen the new hair yet ...

Not the most flattering of pictures :/ but still you can see the lovely short hair

Tuesday, i turned 19 ... also laowed work, it was my last day there anyways but realised on monday they have been cheating me out of tips for the last few months so basically thought fuck you im going to enjoy my birthday, although 19 is kind of a lame age tbh so i didnt make a big song and dance about it and recovered most of the day from bridge, opening cards etc the usuals then pub meal in the evening to celebrate kind of thing, to which i destroyed a 20 oz steak and a candy mania in one sitting, i am still a fat bitch :D good times

Wednesday was unproductive again, but in the evening headed to alex's, along with jennie, jaime and his friend joe, pizza, beer and some apple sours (birthday present) = good times, just in tears of laughter, ha heres two of the things i got introduced too ... That and i returned this favour by introducing someone to powerthirst XD

:') Pure win

Thursday/friday both unproductive, although thursday was tennis with ash at westminster, bless they have tryed to fence up the holes but left 3 or 4 plenty big enough for us to still get in ha but he was winning 5-2 i brought it back to 6-6 and we called it a day, curry and chips plus a bag of bbq food from iceland and lunch was sorted listening to basically oniels songs full blast in the car, then "jerk it out" came up, i havent heard this in years! friday did try for the 15 mile run again but pulled a leg muscle coming out of wootton just because of not warming up properly :/ so lame so just did house work and more recovering but did watch "the boat that rocked", love this film, it just has such a good cast and i'm currently downloading the soundtrack :D heres the trailer and a taste ...

Today, made a uber milkshake with james, banana and nutella then back on the fitness stuff and about to head out to attempt the mega run in the sun again ... which is going to make my tan lines far worse ha and i still cant find my headphone ... NO DAM HEADPHONES ON A 15 MILE RUN GETS BORING, if anyone has any knocking about id bite your arm off for them and do anything ... PLEASE :D

YEEAAAAHHHH

Its my birthday and i am now 19 ... Awesome :D

Saturday, 10 April 2010

Such an angel with a devilish angle

Last few days have been awesome, as has the weather ...
as i said in the one below i think, grandparents came round on the wednesday which was cool. They brought with them (besides the enormous patch now) a large box full of newspapers, i was a bit like wtf at first, but what they have done is kept a newspaper on my birthday for the last 18 years, which is dam cool, i havent had a good chance to look at them yet but i want to see the 2000 one, because of the millennium stuffs

My grandad is also trying his best to persuade me out of the army and into the navy though as his son is already there, plan was a while ago to go up and sit down with them all but we never made it :/ so said id go up to his and do it, its not going to change my mind but be a good chance to actually talk about all this stuff and kind of argue my corner, including the tedious topics no one else wants to hear about with someone in the forces already....

then heading for a pub lunch, Good times

Thursday was work, then another run. this one being over 15 miles, same route apart from i added going from wootton to oxford via old boars hill and the abingdon road, then the river path etc like last time, yeaah i couldnt walk up the stairs properly for the whole night ha, but babysitting and hattie popped round, we made milkshakes, win

friday was work all day, we got hammered, wasnt so much how many people we had, it was just they all came at the same time, pub went from 0 to hero in about 15 minutes, so i then had (at its worst) 12 cheques at the same time, leaving out the fact i have to do mains prep and side orders etc too, each of the 12 cheques on average had about 6 different starters to do, this = a long arsed wait and bad times :/

Although Tonight is gonna be a good night, as is the weekend
Hannah's birthday shindig and talia's leaving thing tonight, that and there isnt a soul i know who isnt about for good times
BBQ out on the front drive tomorrow with basically all of wootton
Bridge Monday, as tash is back

Life is good :)
xo

Tuesday, 6 April 2010

We are the end

Work and then headed back home to help clean up the house ready for grandparents coming round tomorrow, Then as its been awesome weather traded in swiming and headed to oxford and ... well ... i havent actually taken a picture yet, ill do it tomorrow but ive had my hair cut ... i have the short sides ... its short ... really short ... but not the back yet, so its kind of an uber mohawk ha little to say i got a lot of looks and wolf whistled 6 times, not in the good sense i don't think either haha

But you know what? i couldn't care less :)

Besides that though, i got surprised yet again, hairdresser called laura obvously asked what i wanted, to which i kind of felt the need to explain all, shes now the second one to not only approve of the army but actually tryed out herself, unfortunatly she had a scared liver so failed the medical ... i didnt ask any more question's into that either :/ she was awesome and was genuinly excited to be cutting my hair into the mohawk ha

Headed off on the 10 mile run after, Oxford to Wootton. Sunny weather, river path and headphones in, Win

That and The Pacific started on Sky today, the huge hyped up war drama ... and its not usual this happens but it kind of delivered, first episode picks up the war 9 months after pearl harbor and the first offensive by america on guadalcanal, japan was rapidly trying to build an airfield here to cut off america from australia, denying america a base to wage the war in the pacific, america goes in to destroy the attempted airfield and take the island, it follows the royal marine battalian sent to do it. japan comes along and wipes out the navy leaving the marines severly under supplyed ... and it goes from there, but it was like watching pearl harbor the film ... but just in a series and i love this kind of stuff, so good times

Anyways, Grandparents tomorrow, so bed

xo

*Whispers* "Oi Mate ...."

Saturday
Spent babysiting, 12-10pm and fixing the bike, then completly failed going out, was going to head off to see sam for drinks after 10pm as mum gets back around then as it was his birthday in the week, breeze where playing, whole group where in PT and Bridge so we had options for later as i didnt have to work on sunday ... as the perfect night was going around my head ... got out to the end of wootton and the tire went flat again, AARRGGHHHH

came back, all ready to go out, needed something fairly brutal, defiance delivered, second world war and is about 1000's of jews hiding in the forest with daniel craig :) good times and is now the last film i intend to watch, for no real reason just sky movies finish's soon ha

Sunday
Worked all day, destroyed an easter egg for breakfast whilst watching south park, YEEAAHH but at work switched from front of house into kitchen half way through and destroying mini eggs most of the day as well, getting the last dose of thats what she said jokes with tom in as i finish next wednesday and wont see him now, bad times but now im going a fair few are following suit :/

Monday or Today
Plan was to head over to lockinge in wantage for the point to point horse racing, i forgot ive actually been before, but a friend described it so much better than i could, basically = drunken picnics and laughs by the car or in the beer tent and the possibility of a bouncy castle haha, along with the horse and hound stuff then it would br bridge afterwards for the after party kind of thing there, and because it the holidays, bridge mondays = win

unfortunatly.

mum had to go and pick a family friend up from the hospital last minute so we couldn't make it to the lockinge point to point, then had to work in the evening. so no bridge, LAME
but kirsty greg and hannah poped around which was awesome, ... although this sums up our night, what we did was watch some lovely videos of puppy's and flowers along with some other's which had some really good fashion tips for the summer, add in some sugar and cherrys on top just to make it extra nice ...

infact ... would you like to see one? you sure? its sickeningly nice? well go ahead just click
here ...

:)

xo

*touch*

Wednesday
basically work, was going to head to the tandem with matt but he couldn't make it, so staying in with the puppy and saw Nick and Norah's infinite playlist, music based kind of chick flick, but pretty funny and is easy watching with tea and the fire as usual

Thursday
Work all day.

Friday
Headed over to Jennie's, which when i finally got there after failing to get on the train, bused it to kidlington and she picked me up, was awesome as usual, we made risotto ... well she made risotto and i kept up the spotify music :D consisting of Billy Talent of course, and gogoll bordello as im heading up to see them with her in birmingham at some point and then ... we made an epic domino trail :D as you do on a friday night in

made shortbread and chilled watching a film, i cant remember the name now but was pretty cool and had early james corden in, thus making it awesome.

Getting home also = fail, buses stoped running being a bank holiday, and coming into cumnor my bike got a puncture, between cumnor and wootton there is no path, just a straight road with no street lamps. so no path, pitch black, high speed cars... whats not to like? ha but jogged it home just going down my road ... the fucking bus went past. WTF!?!?! i laughed as if i didn't id of cryed i think haa Pubic transport hates me.

Anyways, not my favorite billy talent song but this remains the greatest entrance to a gig so far, i couldn't find the actual video, just the song but they lit up each person as there bit came in, behind a white sheet so the shadows came up on it, bass drums etc, then RARAWWRR and it fucking drops.

No.

Tuesday

By now anyone who follows this will know all about Channel 4's Comedy Gala, if not here's the link,
After hoping on the oxford tube, Hitting up the underground (which I'm now pro at) we headed up to the O2 Arena, and just wow, I've only been here once before and i still find it incredible, then introducing mum to something this epic for the first time was just amazing

If you haven't been before its that big they have basically build an indoor street, with shops, restaurants, clubs etc then has loads of other stuff to do, they even had a roller disco! ha but they have an exhibition bit which i really wanted to go into for the sake of it, last time was the body worlds, this time was a music thing but wasn't open when we got there :/ so We hit up the Chinese buffet, this = my heaven, its help yourself to what ever for £14 per person, including desert, my god :D then played people spotting (basically laughing at fat people and odd couples) which was so funny until we had to head on in, got the beers, ... although maneuvering with 2 full beers in a full venue is nearly impossible and i did accidentally spill beer on the seat of the girl infront, it didn't get her but she still wasn't to happy but gave her my jumper to clean it up, apologised a lot and carried on (i only mention this as well you'll see) got the program and got comfy

The Venue itself is quite something to take in, ... its fucking staggering! it holds something redonkulous like 18-20 thousand people

Yeah you get the gist, as for the comedy? Honestly, watch it on youtube/40d or for the full un edited version, get the dvd, its well worth it. It made tears come out of my face and Mum couldn't even hold up the camera in the end, It was incredible... so here's some noel fielding and suddenly the titles will make sense :D

After the laughs and tears, we headed back out and down the indoor street but as me and mum had been playing celebrity spotting in the interval, i was about to shout at her "I win, look theres an alan carr look alike ... wait ... hang on a second ... IT IS ALAN CARR! Fuck and Catherine Tate HELLO!!! i think there pr had got them lost so they where in a hurry to get away but no one had noticed in the crowds it seemed but me, yeah i couldn't get the camera out in time so by the time i got a picture they where heading off but getting to say hello to alan carr is awesome

5 seconds down the street again, james corden and ruth jones where headed up to the top floor of the club, guessing the place the pr was trying to find but they all got shouts, carryed on then inchs from us walked past bill bailey and some others, mark watson was at the back of the group, and i plucked up the confidence to be a complete cock, interrupt and ask for a picture, he was dam cool about it all and i think loved it tbh, but as he was in a hurry it was kind of a 5 second thing so we both look pretty much like shit haha shook his hand and he went on his way but just god dam Win :)

Anyways headed back to the underground, there was so many of us it took a while but still, out of the thousands of people queueing to get onto the platform, out of every train that left the station, out of every carriage on the god dam train, i find the one with the girl and her boyfriend who i split beer on. we both saw each other and just laughed, but just fml haha

All in all though, just incredible

:)

xo

Yes.

Monday

Work, gym then Reading Tickets

Little to say i now have 1 weekend ticket :D, only because of the misfortune of seetickets ... it crashed for 15-20 minutes, everywhere else didnt like me and sold out in this time, then it came back up and i may has well of been quite literally on fire, i got through 5 times and now have a fair few credit card details from friends ;)

But as far as line-ups go, just :')

ive already started planning this out, although one of the days will be spent raving to Peter Andre, JLS and Justin Bieber on the lock up stage, naturally ha with a really old friend from shropshire (this being the 3-4 week stint spent there during sats, as aposed to childhood but very bad and long story)but hes called jonny, hes small, ginger and the definition of a ledgend

  • Friday, Mainstage the whole day, although a bit of mumford and sons wouldn't go a miss :)

  • Saturday, Nme stage the whole day, Pendulum = God dam fucking win :D anyone who has any idea who i am should know how much i love this band, ha however, dizzee rascal FTW as well

  • Sunday, ... well what do you think? BLINK 182 XD YEEAAHH, bit lame though i wouldnt mind seeing klaxons, loved the last time i saw them so much

Yeeaahh have got a bit distracted and found old klaxon videos on youtube ... which lead to many a remix video and mgmt.... which then lead to this. I was addicted to them after reading as i was rather gutted i missed there set, this being the french duo, Justice ... i can't download the Reading coverage (heres the link) abut heres a song i had completely forgoten about ... Win

(yeah im working on this, it wont work right now, trying something new)

(Also Embeding was disabled for this, but realplayer has the option to download almost any video off the internet regardless, get it, its well worth it)

This then lead to well, where everything i look up on youtube ends up at, Pendulum. probally posted this before but as im ringing a certain someone tomorrow its kind of fiting, skip it to 5:10 and its good times form there on in ... :D BRING ON READING

What is you?

I now have someone who has the same name as me and looks like a serial rapist as my background ...

Anyways its been like a week now? fuck loads has been going on so theres going to be a few post's as apposed to one here and ive got half an hour to get through it all as its like half 11 and i need to be in bed really, but not sacrificing quality here, oh no it will have pictures and cool things, so stick with it

Sunday (28th) = picking up this little fellow, Rolo the King Charles Spaniel

Hes awesome, hes my mums dog this time round (patch was my dog), these dogs have kind of run through our family, grand parents used to have a fair few of them, so on mums part this basically = a fairly un planned impulse buy on her part, which makes a nice change ha and his favorite past time, making dam sure the purple slipper is dead...
