Is anyone thinking anything at all?

"Today, smile inappropriately"
kid fell over, i smiled ... his mum saw, thus passed with flying colours.

Today has been none stop.
James (little brother) had his Bowling Party today at the kassam stadium with 12 of his friends, spread over 2 lanes, mum had 6 and i had 6 of them and it was just really fun that and my lane was dam pro, there 8 and bowling properly without the thing you roll the balls down, but i lost to jenny (my little sister whos 6) ... badly ha, even though i got 2 strikes, she got an unholy amount of spares so i got owned ha, then introduced them all to Outrun 2 and time crisis in the arcade, awesome. although me and jenny didnt win a hello kitty on the grabber thing, with the three hooks? that just never picks it up anything even if you get it dead on, like we did, ive yet to see anyone win at that game

Then Haircut, straight out to the Gym, nailed the hour run + weight machines which i then saw my old asistant manager kerry which was cool, so had a catch up, and watched aston villa lose the fa cup, this only interests me as i know of one die hard aston villa fan at the pub and this weekend im back out on the front as a waiter so can rub it in a bit (as the pubs rammed at the moment, my mum who also works there managed come home with £30 in tips, thus i fancy a slice of this pie ha) then literally as i got back headed for a meal at the Fox, i'm talking 3 courses

  1. Guiness
  2. Chicken skewers and cheesy garlic bread
  3. lamb rump with roast potatos and veg, with onion rings and bread (bread to mop up the gravy of course)
  4. Belgian Chocolate Parfait mouse stuff, with icecream and cherry sauce ... if you ever go to a chef and brewer pub, order this, everything is incredible ...
  5. that and along with mum, james and jenny eating + drinks, with our discount, it came to like £30? for 4, love the perks of my job

Basically that was spured on as since christmas ive droped from 13 stone to 11 and a half. some more weight behind me would be nice to have again, get cold outside now.

as you can see this is shortened massively, ive yet to wrap up all the ebay shizz and its now 11, im barely awake as it is and being distracted by ultimate force, so this is going to be some special wrapping coming up

xo

Oh, i loled at this. i put the itouch on shuffle for the last time today as its sold, no word of a lie it came up with this. what can i say, it knows me well :D

So sentimental...Not sentimental no!

"Choose your final meal on death row and make it"
Passed, It would be cereal, i have my reasons :)

Ive just rolled out of bed, i didnt get in from the barley mow ( ill explain) till like 1am but im currently Sat watching Skins with sugar puffs, oh yes whilst finishing up ebay stuff, as the ps3, itouch and camera lens are all now sold and im looking at scalextric stuff (again ill explain) but realised ive been neglecting this for a while now and a major catch up is in order as loads has been going on this week, but all in all its been pretty shibby.

Monday was pretty interesting though, well for me. I work for The Fox pub which is part of the Chef and Brewer chain, The Barley Mow is part of the chain as well and they have been desperate for chefs for a while now, to keep the kitchen open they have had to employ agency chefs which are £15 an hour, so hes asked us for help, ive got a few days spare so said id pop over, it is a good 7-8 miles away so 40 minute bike ride to clifton hampden ha (basically like cycling to didcot as its just north of there) other than that it was dam cool

  1. there kitchen is twice the size of ours, so i was in my element
  2. they do things fairly differently, some things better some things worse, so bit of a change
  3. there at lot quieter than we are, monday only had 3 tables in all night
  4. the other chefs are sound, Pascal being agency knows whats hes doing and can do it quickly, Matty on pot wash, hes is a bit simple but is funny, hes the kind of guy that would come up to you go "I like chips, because they taste nice" then just walk off, brilliant
  5. that and well, ... they have a lot more good looking waitress's :P

Tuesday/ wednesday pretty much the same, gym and normal work

Thursday was awesome though, its my little brothers birthday. hes now 8, his party isnt till sunday as we are all off bowling with 12 of his friends but he had all the balloons, party food, cake and opening presents etc on thurs, ive got him scalextric :D its a little oval of the new sport track stuff, so we've been racing on that for the last few days, but busted out the INSANE amount of classic track we have upstairs to get it all working again, you could literally build it around the house we have that much, it has everything from a pitlane to cross overs, bridges, and an insane peice of track your almost 100% guarteed to crash on, they wouldn't dream of making anymore like it again ha (being 12 this was heaven). everything works ... after a few laps of pushing the cars to clean the track up but we only have one controller at the moment, so thats why im on ebay, to buy another boxed set for the controllers and basically make the track more insane :D

Chris poped over with more ps3 controllers, so me mum james and chris all played 4 way Cod. genious

speaking of chris, hes introduced me to subfocus, there supporting pendulum in birmingham where we are shibbying on up to, on megabus for .... Wait for it ... £1!?!?!?! there and either train it back or hotel it and then £4 back, god dam love megabus.

Friday headed over the Barley Mow again, same thing apart from we didnt finish till around 11pm as it got busy and i stayed for a few pints with the chefs/waiters after so i didnt get in till laaaatee.

Todays list of things to do is pretty huge though, ive done about half so far

  • Clean my room, its bad... three piles of clothes bad
  • Babysit from 12-3 6-10, as mums at work
  • Gym it, 3-6 as i missed fridays
  • send off the rock climbing forms
  • Sort out the Static line jump
  • sort out shifts at the barley mow, as it starts on monday next week
  • send off the ebay items, buy the scalextric, replace the camera and find an ipod nano, as currently its shit boring cycling with no music
  • sort out shropshire as im heading up there in a few weeks
  • book up megabus tickets
  • sort out contract for phone as they are asking for money a week before i took out the contract, thus dont get payed so it gets bounced, retards
  • sort out seeing people, as sams back and its been weeks since ive seen others as well
  • get the the bike shop on cowley road to service the bike either today or tomorrow, as the brakes are so worn down they stop me after about 10 metres, this is not helpful ha
  • get down the the army surplus shop and get a burgen pack (the uber huge ones) to start training with

Im sure theres more ive forgoten or am going to have to add to this list :/

I dont really know where these last bits fit into the week, i cant remember tbh as both these things happened when i was shattered or come back from work, but there the reason this weeks been awesome, first off i got a text from a fairly old friend just to say "i really miss you bender" ha, we used to talk all the time and basically used to have incredibly funny banter till the early hours but since shes gone to uni and we had a patch where things went a bit weird we havent, so it was really nice to hear that and then chat properly again, into the early hours ha with me playing the agony aunt, which again its nice to know i havent changed as much as i think i have since school, i just need a beard and a mysterious look and ill of nailed the wise man image ha

Second was well, another catch up that lasted wwaayy out till the early hours, this person reads so i dont really fancy being completly honest but without detail, its just nice going back to being close friends

:)

Oh but before i disapear, i think some rewards are in order for getting to the bottom, and there's nothing better than freerunning stripers and steel panther on valentines day,... what more could you ask for ha, enjoy

LINK TO STEEL PANTHER, haha, they know how to treat a women right

I wish i was pro enough to be able to do things like this, oh heres a link to one of the songs ive been addicted to since,
Phoenix - Lisztomania (the embeding has been disabled for some reason)

That and having left facebook on, its pretty funny to deliever the lines "Sorry i'm playing COD"
Win.

Cockfosters

"Be a Pathalogical lair for the day"
Failed, just for being caught out

you can see ive been neglecting benricks for a while now, as to much has been going on but decided to pick it up where i left off which is roughly here, so had ago at it today but as my evening was spent cleaning then invading hannahs house, then hannah fancyed invading gregs house, these two know me far to well so lieing just didnt happen, managed to slip in a few white ones here and there but i got caught out just plainly lieing about going to the gloc more than once haha fail.

but a plan to add into the next few months, "fuck this, lets go to colours" ha ... which is now rileys but meh, basically a scummy pool place me and hannah would always go to, to basically chill when we where like 16-17? my epic event here was teamed with hannah we owning a huge chav from MA at pool called tom collins, hannahs was making an uber break, she chiped the ball, it hit the back cushion, bounced back and landed into the middle of the balls and she potted. it couldnt be repeated in a million years.

anyways, ive got shit loads i need to do tomorrow so bed time.
g'night xo

Oh also,. drawing certain things on a bit of paper reminded me of a tube stop haha thus the title.

FML.

Monday however was really good, work then gym (45 min run) but one of my friends who id kind of lost touch with since shes been at uni and havent talked to in ages said hello and we had a massive catch up, she was my first ever friend in oxford so it was really nice, that and its cool when people make the effort :) but as i doubt ill have funds to go visit her, shes back in easter so we are going to have a proper catch up then

Tuesday = shattered
10-3 work
swimming (half an hour straight) but i met such a sound guy, hes called bill, hes 72 and looks like santa ha but he used to be in the army in the 50's as a signaller and was telling me a lot of ins and outs, such as being drunk counts as a self inflicted injury and thus disiplinery, but sunburn also counts as this ha
6-10:15 work to which there was only two of us in the kitchen, we had 110 cheques come through, it was hell

which brings me onto today and this
I dont intend to repeat this, as i may cry, but i slept clean through my alarm, woke up at about 11, ran and got onto see tickets, tryed for an hour, then "all rage tickets have now been allocated" ... :'(

FML

I'd happily kill something sweet and innocent with no regrets to go haha i had forgotten i have already seen them at reading 08 but still this is like the epic gig of our generation. nevermind, if im that desperate theres always download but yeah

i need to get ready and head off to the gym, ill update my fitness blog thingy later as well as my programs changed and been uped a fair amount too

xo

Hello son, would you like a lollipop? ...

Finding some groups pretty amusing tonight, its been a while since ones have come along i agree with and can find people that fit them ha

"If I could punch you without getting in trouble, beleive me, i would"
"I want to re-live that night..."
"when im drunk, i tend to ruin my life."
"KATY PERRY SHUT UP SINGING AND GET IN MY BED.... :P

haha todays been spent at work and re doing my training program whilst watching jarhead for a bit of inspiration, that and listening to a few new songs along the way. Also me and ash on friday, outside botley kebab at 1 in the morning ha where having our usual discussions about complete rubbish and got onto the topic of rage.

Currently for the free gig: 122,215 have applyed, theres 40,000 places

if not, as i fancy a change to the tradition of reading, we thought of download as AC/DC are already headlining and rage where rumoured, we basically agreed for a plan b, if rage played, it would tip the balance ... it happened :D so its all down to wednesday now.

Hannahs going to v fest as well which is basically 99% certain to have Kasabian there, unfortunatly i never got the tickets for the post brit award show which is tomorrow, the venue turned around and said everyones going to need ID and i spent most of my funds in london, which was well worth it anyways

Gigs of 2010: Ticked off Lostprophets/Cobra starship

The Girl in the Red Jacket ...

Last week or so has been Such an Adventure, there really just hasnt been time to post, so my bad but heres the uber catch up

Should probally start with Tuesday, as i headed over to kennington to visit my old second home, this being hannahs house ha, for a day of cake, tea, cheese toastys (which smoked the house out with the retro toasty maker) and left for dead, theres something strangly addictive to arming yourself up to the neck with guns and trying to survive hordes of zombies, ... however, me and hanah never lasted past 3 minutes without getting owned by something that lept out of the dark ha, after headed up to the gym, only mention as im pretty proud of nailing a 45 minute run at 12km a hour, good times then had work to finish of the day.

wednesday, after basically droping the bomb on work of "oh yeah i cant do the next three days" headed to oxford to meet greg and get the coach to london ha, biking in didnt take to long so was a bit early but on the walk to gloustergreen bumped into mattie and her friend which was cool so had a bit of a catch up and as she owe's me so much money by now, she very kindly bought relentless, Win

Got to London and honestly, im such a little kid, i still get well excited just being there and going on the underground, this time made it even better as we where armed with Oyster Cards, Unfortunatly there was no money on the card i "acuired" on a previous night so toped up and we headed to the hostel. Its called The Generator and for central london, for £17 a night it was pretty cool, just imagin if the Pt did accomidation? thats the best way to describe it, they even give you beer vouchers with your key card ha but we checked in quick and droped our stuff off in our room, which was shared with lots of pretty friendly travellers, i just wanted them to keep talking the accents where awesome ha and they liked "thats what she said jokes" win but as the gig had already started we didnt hang around and headed back to the underground to get on it in Shepherds Bush ;)

So Fucking Good XD
We got there just as the support acts finished up, which wasnt a great loss as we didnt know them anyways, gave me chance to take in the venue as i havent been there before as well, little to say its awesome, Then ...

INSANE, There so good live, they sound exactly like the recordings, i've only heard there most recent album "Hot Mess" so didnt know some of the older stuffs, but that just didnt matter at all, its the kind of music you just dance like a mother fucker too .. ha, thats whats so brilliant about them, so just good times, after headed back but managed to forget to change on to a different line, we realised this after toping up and getting outside the station, but this suddenly became a win situation as in the glimering distance, Stood ... burger king, as greg had a voucher one voucher for a bacon double cheese. :D but headed back and hit up the bar for a few drinks before heading to bed, although we didnt get to much as the traveller people we where sharing with came back late and beyond smashed which = being loud for the rest of the night but it was pretty funny.

Had a bit of a lie in but rolled out of bed with only one thing on my mind, breakfast. so packed up, handed in the key cards and got on it. As we where on a budget of about £15-£20? for the rest of the day and breakfast was free until 11, we decided to destroyed it, frosties, toast, tea, orange juice, oh yes we had the lot.

We had about 5-6 hours to kill now before meeting gregs friend ben at paddington station and heading to brixton for lostprophets, so had a ponder on "whats free to do in london? and also inside?" ... science + natural history museum, Blatently

They are dam awesome, i havent been to either before, that and theres loads of
photos here, bask in my quite simply amazing camera skills ha, its the camera on my phone and the first time ive ever used it so some are a tad blurry, that and im a simpleton ha but some came out pretty cool but after a few hours came the time of "Fuck this, lets go to the pub" so we headed to paddington to spend our last few pennys in the pub there and meet ben.

Orchid came along too for a while and said hey which was cool, but she couldnt come with (useing our spare ticket) as she was off to a chinese new year shin dig, so after eating nacho's headed to brixton for PROPHETS XD we got some more beer money to add to our pot as i sold the spare ticket and then we found weatherspoons. little to say we ended up getting pitchers but they had run out of port, so we got them toped up with jagermister instead, good times

headed to the gig, round of tuborg and we found tom and kate which was cool, when lostprophets came on me greg ben and tom, headed straight to the front with the tactic of "im dancing and shouting PROPHETS and thus being cooler than you so im going to go infront now haha" made it to the front and owned the pit, just incredible gig, i got to hear "We are Godzilla, You are Japan" and they even did an epic cover of This ...

Omen - By the prodigy, XD

So Good, but grabed our stuff and headed to the underground once more, ben changed to get back on the train and me and greg headed back to Marble Arch to coach it, but as we came to the top of the stairs it was taped off? we went under to a dirty look from a police officer and the whole road was closed off, we headed to ask what was going on and they explained a guy had invited 2000 through fb to an abandoned house (one on the right) and had a rave, people where on the roof and throwing bottles and tiles at the police and abulance crews, so police in full riot gear where heading in as our coach turned up Lols,

Coach was rammed but found tom and kate, on the back with some of the last seats, win and also made friends with a girl from america, whilst laughing at the "sexual" voice of the bus driver haha,

London was just such a good adventure and well worth being bankrupt for :D

Friday id completly forgotten with all the london stuff going on id agreed to go and see ashley for a catch up as hes back from southampton, so set off with no funds as my bank account is horrific at the moment, and headed out to red lion for a quiet night, checked out oniels as is traditional for the band, called juice or something, no breeze ha but all the classics where there, blink 182, arctic monkeys, nivana but in the set change headed to spoons as its a lot cheaper and saw adam sam tom olivia etc, which was cool as i dont see them much anymore, oniels for the last set, kebab, then home :)

Todays quiet simply been spent babysiting, blogging and generally recovering whilst watching spongebob ha, i might be headed off to gregs later but as hannah (our lodger) has been a bit of a nob recently her staying here has gone a bit sour, and she usually helps out with babysiting, thus means i might have to cover now :/ never the less i really need to get ready for the gym now so laters

P.s if you actually get to the end of this i think you deserve a medal, a cuppa and a sign that says get out more haha

Move like You Gonna Die

I've been a complete fail at blogging recently, its been like a week and loads has happened, little to say its been an awesome week or so, ill post properly on the weekend, with an uber catch up, promise

I'm only on as:
a) I got woken up by the kids this morning at 6am, so woken up on the complete wrong side of bed as i could of done with a lie in before tonight, ggrr
b) im waiting for the kettle to boil and toast to pop up
c) to check gregs blog to remind myself of the plan tonight haha, so glad he keeps up with it

but yeah on a ridiculously tight budget of like £40? follow it and you'll saee just how tight it is ha, if anything goes wrong its going to be a FML moment, im also planning ahead and eating fuck loads before i go ha, but adventure for the next couple of days, if nothing goes wrong should kind of be as follows:

head to london tonight after using gregs last burger king voucher, buy one double cheese burger, get one free, which its my turn to buy as he bought it last time before the secret gig (£5) which will be the last meal ill have till the morning ha,
Oxford tube to london (£16), underground it (which im hopeing to fuck the oyster card gained a few weeks ago has money on it ha) and head to the hostel to drop stuff off (£17.50 each), then its Cobra starship at shepherds bush tonight, ive heard there really good live so im looking forward to it,
After, get as much sleep as possible before hitting up the free continental breakfast in the morning, which im planning to destroy, then kill time in london before Lostprophets at Brixton, havent been to Brixton since billy talent with hannah like 4 years ago? so cant wait, is sold out as well :D, after head back on the coach (£4)

im not exactly pumped for it right now, im barely awake, im more looking forward to toast and a cup of tea and putting to fire on as im currently sat in my awesome bed shorts, if youve never layed witness to the bed shorts, there the comfyest shorts every made, but wait till im ready, on the coach and its sunk in, Be Good times :D

Friday Heading to oxford as well to have a catch up with Ash and i think Talia is about as well, ill have literally no funds but pfftt that and no work on Saturday, Win

Anyways, kettles ready and fresh prince is on

I still believe

The most productive few days ever,

Mon
... Alright maybe monday wasnt, it was mainly spent playing killzone online but 12 hour shifts and all? but i did ring up the tax office and sort all that shizz out, nice guy called terry explained all this to me down the phone that if you earn up to 6,000, none of that can be taxed, thats the current "personal allowance" only the money you earn after you pay tax on, mines currently about 500 pounds over this but does mean im set for a rebate in april (end of the tax year) of around 1,200. GOOD. FUDGEING. TIMES. :D

Tues
Did everything from washing up, Washing clothes, cleaned the hamster etc also got on the course for the brookes climbing wall which starts in march, and emailed the ex soldiers to go back again next week, then headed to work.
but this does present a dilema, plan b and deadmau5 tickets are safe till next paycheck really but this lot really arent.
i have to choose by tomorrow:
  • Lostprophets feb 11th, next week with greg ... Sold out but found tickets that finish tomorrow
  • Kasabian, feb 16th ... post brit award show ... Sold out but again found tickets that end tomorrow, same price as LP
  • Biffy Clyro may 6th, ... going fast but tickets left for the HMV apoll
  • Pendulum may 28th, with chris ... the birmingham shows already sold out with sub focus, risky but could wait out for a while as wembley arena hasnt yet

Yeah :/ but still cobra starship on the 10th, Again Good.Times.

Today

Sorting out my bike all day, repairing the uber puncture, re doing the lights, fixing the brakes and generally cleaning it up, well would have done if id had AAA batterys and a puncture repair kit, had to wait around till mum got back for a trip to tescos, but in the mean time ordered more books from amazon, mainly army fitness ones, best being "fighting fit" by andy mcnab, sas training stuff

found another book in tescos called "Spoken from the front" by him too, intro that got me interested was: he had the idea of making a book based on the storys of the people who have served on the front line, instead of him writing there accounts, he got there testimonies in there words, through interviews, diarys along with letters and emails. he follows around 20 of them from 2006 -2008 to give a snap shot into the war and how it unfolded for them, so see how it goes :)

book buying has kind of been spurred on as mums computers down and being fixed by david, which could take months, shes using the kids laptop to do her cake business, james cant get onto his mathletics thing he does for school to easily and his teachers bugging him a bit, mum was going to get another laptop but with the heating/electricity bill coming through it didnt sound like a good idea, so instead offered my computer to going downstairs, moving it down tomorrow and for the near future, so probally wont be online to much, which will do me some good tbh

So could be the last post for at least a few days ... so heres some videos to pass the time :D

xxo

Only one i havent Heard live.

Noel Fielding running around a field stabbing people? whats not to like

Still want a Deadmau5 head thing ... given its not in the video but still

:)

I still havent seen Biffy Clyro live, Ive always found something else to get in the way, bad times, everyones heard the album "puzzle", so heres a song off there new album, i havent had a proper chance to listen to the rest yet so what tomorrows going to be spent doing :)

If i havent posted enough of them yet, this is the last remixed song i could possibley post, but probally one of the greatest

The Dark Knight

Its 1pm, ive just got up :)

Although with good reason, sat and sun did 12 hour shifts. really bad times so needed the extra sleep and generally been really pissed off over the weekend so have laowed the computer, saturday night esspecially as i missed out on a traditional family party in leaminton spa, at a local pub usually, with my real grandad
(Quick family history lesson, my grandma and grandad split, grandma lives in north shropshire with roger and is where i spent christmas and who has patch, my grandad and vicky live in leaminton spa and hes the one who ive only known for a few years and who playes guitar, that and vicky hates kids. seriously hates them, although she liked me because a) i was over 6ft, b) i ate anything she put infront of me, good times :)

but its funnyer how a film can make you think differently about things :) i hate generally having those pissy moments, its just not me (i hope at least) and realised the last post came up in the feed :/, yeah i deleted it and drunk a can of .... (Man the fuck up) but i think theres just some things i miss a lot more than i thought.

but love the dark knight though, or the black knight haha, the sales guy in carphone warehouse was telling me about the stuff the ps3 comes with, as any good sales man should, but just as his black colleage walked past he said "Black knight", he heard and was like, "I'll open a can of woop ass on your later" or something and it was just really funny

Sunday night was pretty dam funny as well, tom was working and is my "your mum" and "thats what she said" partner, trying to the think of the "your mum" of the moment joke, it was something like, how do you take your tea? milk and sugar? ... ill take it as it comes... like your mum, lol and between 3-6 lunch and dinner the pubs usually dead, so we had a session of epically harsh jokes, none of which need repeating haha

Also its the first of feb, means drinking ban but im not going to do it for charity as such, i dont think it will be worth the energy tbh, its not huge feet of achievement, i just donated to help for heros instead :) so still did a little bit, but next year want to do The Big Battlefield Bike Ride, which is one of help for heros challenges, most are full for this year but its 350 miles, so quite the challenge :)

(Take a Look)

Anyways i need to start on the mountain of stuff i need to get out the way today, literally everything from washing, cleaning my room, gym, fixing the bike, but first being get breakfast, so laters
xo

Oh and this is awesome too, im thinking of heading to the 02 Academy to see them in april, this is the remix by pendulum
