Obie One Kenobi is like God, but with better Weapons

Yesterday, average tbh, but got back from work and checked tv shack for new episodes, and hit the jackpot, House. so a nice late night followed

Today
as for skins, Yeah ... its entertaining ha

That and its payday tomorrow :) ... well today, so natually ive been planning how to blow it all at the begining of the month as usual

First off:
Paying Greg Back.. Maybe with a beer on top (reminds me, I FOUND MY ID, it was in a different pocket in my wallet lol) as im still admiring the signed cd i wouldnt have if he hadnt lent me the money
Rent for mum
Gym Membership

Then see if theres enough left for the static line jump but i'm doubting this at the moment :/
If not, do it next month (as ive earnt enough this week alone to do it with the 12 hour shifts)

Secondly:
Rock Climbing
Ex soldiers
Then contract phone, as ive lost mine yet again and am taking out insurance this time round, but my question to you is, Blackberry? or Samsung lite + a ps3?
Carephone warehouse have a special offer on both, reduced price on the blackberry yet the samsung you get a free ps3 ... :/ oh and the Iphone doesnt even come in to this as i have the itouch which does everything but ring/text

ha, even having earnt the money i should probally shut up now, half of the people who follow (yes all 3 of them) are at uni and on a budget, ... sucks to be them :P but karma is back ...

as i now have a new injury to add to the list, i tryed cycling to work today and physically couldnt, my left knee has been uncomfortable for a while now ever since i tripped and fell ages ago, posted about it somewhere or another but basically triped over a cunningly hiden curve whilst jogging with the soldiers and my knee took the brunt of it, my idea is its never healed properly, so scans booked for tomorrow :/ bad times

so im heading to bed, as its for 9:50
Laters xo

What a load of old SHIT

SKINS Season 4 ... although lets face it, its probally going to be shit :/

1st and 2nd series was where it was at, I mean, first, pissing in your face after viagra and falling in the bath whilst half asleep? second, it had Bill Bailey doing tricks with a dog, plain awesome

None the less the songs are pretty awesome
I'll post properly later

No Drinking ... I'm sorry what? James Blunt

Ive had literally no time to blog recently :/

Saturday night was extremely so just headed to bed when i got back instead of coming on here, so never explained what id been up to on my break, (ha quickly, i found out i ran into a wall whilst drunk, lol, hence the fat swollen face), but yeah with the army interview coming up ive been catching up on about everything and came across a magazine called soldier, it has loads in it at least that i find interesting, like this, an injured para trooper managed to raise 20,000 for charity by walking 12 days across the sahara, just woah

but yeah the good idea was this: from the 1st of febuary, for 2 months, im going on a sponsored drinking ban. Oh yes and a fair few people are up for sponsoring too which is cool. With all the money going to Help for Hero's, a charity for injured soldiers :) and as a forfit, if i fail, i double the sponsorship money out my own pocket. so should be fun, ok its no walk across the Sahara but every little helps

Sunday was pretty much hell, 11am - 11pm, 12 hour shift, preping everything as the menu's now changed at the pub, so ive got 4 new starters, so yeah did that in the day, along with clean the outside, clean the carpark, clean the bottle store... yeah you get the drift :/ as the area manager was coming to check up on the pub, bad times so in the evening had to clean the whole kitchen, top to bottom and date everything :/ kitchen closed around 8, but we didnt leave till 11, bad times

Monday
back at work following procedure, no eating in the kitchen, hats on etc, shes the new area manager and kind of reminds me of a head teacher, she just has that sort of persona, if you made a wrong joke she'd kill you where you stood, ha but yeah was burns night in the evening so again added dish's, mine being a chicken liver dish, salmon and caviar dish and leek and tattie soup, which was cool along with some scottish classics like haggis but me and mum made up one of the extra deserts for the night (probally havent mentioned but mum works at the pub now too) called Raspberry Cranachan from scratch, whipping the cream and everything, it looked like that but in a small coffee cup instead, was awesome so im making it at home soon :)

Stayed after for a while for a drink with pete as he only works sundays, and after it usually a tradition for me to hold onto the side of his car whilst cycling home, yeah dangerous but used to work like a charm, however matt tryed to do this, he accelerated to quickly, bike sliped along with me :/ bit of a role and a sore arsed elbow and gash across the knee followed, im just adding to the collection now, bad times

Today again 10-3 and im back on 6-finish later, sucks a bit as im basically a workaholic but im thinking of the money at the moment, in these three days i've earned about £300 and ive only got this month left now before ill probally finish, so be nice to have a fat paycheck to live off for a while :) anyways im going to head off and get ready for work, that and left over haggis is ready when i get there for dinner, Good times

So Laters

Oh P.s i never explained the titles, ha its cockney rhyming slang, like bee's and honey= money, deep sea diver = fiver, its the new "fun" thing to do as pete wants to learn posh english ha, so struggle and grunt? James blunt? ... work it out :P

Struggle and Grunt

Ventured to oxford last night for a catch up with, well, quite a funny bunch in the end in spoons and... it got a bit messy... yeeaah ill fill in this bit after ive been let in on what went on too :) bad times

but woke up this morning (as you do) 10 minutes before i had to be at work and to a bleeding and currently very swollen eyebrow and general bruised left side of my face :) fml.
I have no idea what, why or how ive managed it either, work was essentially trying to work this out, so far:

Oniels around half 10, memory kind of goes from here
Remember outside thirst finding blood on my face
then not being let into pt for some reason
to being in a car with my bike in the back, was a womans voice??

so yeah my idea so far, headed to thirst with adam sam etc from oniels, must have triped/walked into something/been punched on the way, headed to pt after this as i knew some had headed there, to which i dont have my ID or phone at the moment, yeah another fail, so guessing thats why i didnt get in there, ive attempted to cycle home at some point as the handle bar on the bike is a little bent, someone took pity and took me home?

on the upside though gained an oyster card?? ha and crept into work without anyone noticeing i was late, such a way to start the day

so yeah, but there is a reason to explaining all that and to what ive been up to on my break today but for now, heading back to work

This is a Secret, sshh ..... (Part 3)

Yeeaahh cd signing video, Roughness sums it up but meh it was cool, hes called archy and was basically going around with a fat phone with a camera asking everyone in the queue lostprophets related questions
That and hearing myself is a bit strange, do i really sound like that? fml

Ive had a chance to have a scout around on youtube tonight as well and some of the videos have turned up, There all pretty shit quality and have sound missing but just as a taster of what all the fuss was over, what all the epic adventure lead to, well here you go :')

xo

This is a Secret, sshh ..... (Part 2)

Sunday/Monday: The Prophets Adventure
Finished work and met up with Greg and Joe in oxford and headed off to London on the tube:). We where going to head to the pub just across from hmv till closing, meet Alice then head to hmv, but when we got there we saw 15-20 people already queing, Seriously, some had been there since 8, so we panicked a bit with the thought of losing out on being in the first 50 and thus no free gig tickets so just decided to go for it.

9pm - 9am ... the longest 12 hours of my life.

  • Surviving off mcdonalds, ergh, its cheap but after 4 burgers, its grim
  • Orchid came along for a few hours which was cool as i havent seen her in ages, she brought her knitting too, Genious.
  • Me and joe had a complete session of grim jokes, proper bad ones, it covered everything but lead to the "bottle bank" story, its grim so i wont give details but was epically funny at the time
  • Sushi super hero, basically a guy who was pretty bungalowed at the time came over for a chat, he had attached foil and other various bits to himself, awesome
  • The 20p Tramp
  • Every 5 seconds there was a "That's what she said" joke, without a doubt
  • "Would you like some Soup?" ha basically two people came along handing out free soup and bread, they thought we were homeless, at the time it seemed amazing, until we realised it was cold and pretty much tasted foul and looked like sick, so it became more of a running joke of Soup with added DEATH, guys infront made a pyramid out of the cups :)
  • Telling passers by we where waiting for A) miley cyrus tickets B) Harry Potter book C) Sports clothes sale which was the shop behind us D) Jackson four tickets. you can see it got more confident, so it lead to shouting at any passer by with a guitar to play lostprophets, failed miserably but generally then lead to us (well i mean i) generally shouting at every passer by just to scare them.
  • Pigeon boy and his nobhead friend, they where just mildly annoying all night (but they got owned later on)
  • Mega lols forum Lady's, who where strange as hell but pretty awesome
  • about 7am, as we where all just dozing off, we got moved to the side entrance, to which we lost about 40 places down the que, teamed up with the forum ladys we complained and got moved to the front :) good times but we then got ID'd to check we where over 16 ... i mean come on.

9am Finally came around and its never felt so good to just be inside, warm and getting the wristbands for the secret gig, FREE PROPHETS GIG XD, complete Win. Although the signing wasn't actually till 5pm, 9am was just for gig tickets/ the cd, so we headed back on the underground to Joe's halls, for a cuppa, special k and a power nap.

headed back to Hmv, which after sleeping in the day, was the weirdest feeling, as my mind expected it to be morning and everything fitted like it should have been. but it wasnt, it was sunset instead of sunrise, the kids of the underground where coming home from school not going there, and it was just generally a complete mind fuck. but yeah got there and whilst waiting for the signing, we got interviewed ... just lol but yeah ill add the video in a bit, but there all just legends, especially the drummer, but i think he was loving it more than we where as hes new to the band, but yeeaahh signed cd :D

Headed off to islington on the underground, although there was some signaling problem earlier and they had just opened up the station as we got there, little to say ive never seen it so rammed in my life. bad times but Pub "The famous Cock" then relentless Garage :D

It was nothing short of epic. even if the relentless garage had run out of relentless, so no jager bombs but it was just a casual atmosphere, no supports, they could play what songs they wanted to and they had the chance to just fuck about on stage, best line for me, "we havent changed a bit, just wear tighter jeans, infact hang on, well go off and come back in a second .." HA the image is the only thing ive ever knocked, so just jokes ... but yeah, incredible, fucking loving the new album :D

Got on the underground back, and this is pretty much the crash point, where the tea and power nap wore off, bad times

Tuesday:

Got up at 1 ha, 12 hour sleep, then hannah poped around for a catch up which was good times, then getting ready for work at 6, found i hadnt quite come out of the mosh pit/ wall of death unscathed, in the shower found theres a fuck off gash across my left side, bad times. but yeah got back from work and something ive missed, late assed conversations on msn/fb into the early hours, havent had that for a while so it was good times :) bring on plymouth soon

Today:

Nothing but work really and planning friday's night out, which im looking foward to as loads are out and about, that and my interview for the army is now next week... :) but now its dinner

This is a Secret, sshh ..... DSTRYR, DSTRYR

:D ... Sums it up

Im heading for another adventure in London. Details ... I'll be there sunday/monday for lostprophets related reasons and well... heres an extract from an oxford known writter to explain.

"This coming monday Lostprophets are releasing their new album "The Betrayed", to promote this they're doing a signing at hmv's flagship store in london at 9AM tomorrow. The signing is limited to 300 people, the first 50 of which will recieve free tickets to see the band that evening at an intimate show in a small venue. Obviously, the plan is to be in that first 50.

To achieve this a few of us are heading into london sunday night, we're gonna go to a nearby pub until closing then go park ourselves outside hmv and wait until 9am"
By Sir Gregory Laidler

Saves me typing something incredibley similair haha but I've cracked early and been listening to there album all of tonight (took 4 hours to download) but you know what, it was worth it.

:')

Cool Beans.

Thurs:
"Go through today without using your sense of: sight"
Failed

Cycling to work?
Working in an industrial kitchen?
Gyming it and Running on a treadmill?

Whilst blind? ... i couldnt do it.

Yesterday:
"Today, ask your loved ones to list your bad points"
...
Go for it? you have to list what you dont like about me, and hereby promise to ditch me by the end of the year if this hasnt changed :)

HOT ROD. for a friday night in, theres nothing better.

Today:
This morning, walk into a police station, announce you're finally giving yourself up and refuse to say another word for the rest of the day"
as epic as this one would have been, Failed

Now most of the snows melted, was prepared for a busy day at work, then got told the tills are down, there all touch screens and computerised and like computers when they crash, they crash. A handfull of other pubs went down and we where last in the que to be sorted out and told not to open the doors. So kicked back and had yet another cuppa, breakfast and read the paper. Win

Finished at 1 and headed out to tescos to help out, but i found it pretty amusing when not only my mum, but other customers start talking tactics for shopping. everything from how to get round the shop the quickest, to which tills going to free up soonest. This should be a sport but also snuck in nme, kerrang! and Nuts along with a huge wall clock. oh yes. i challenge you to sneak in something more in your face than a huge clock.

(yeah you skim read, thats what you get ;)

Brings me to now, Babysitting and Nme first (as kerrang! will have a review of LP so it can wait till tomorrow) and new music session, its Nme, i dont have good hopes as its generally as usefull as a wet dishcloth for finding good new music but its worth a read as it has the festival rumours :)

Yippee ki-yay, Motherfucker

Currently chilling listening to City and Colour, hes the singer from Alexisonfire (the none screaming one) i need to get there new album really, but there old one is still good times and about to kick back downstairs by the fire with a cuppa so hopefully this will be quick

Yesterday
"Recruit a celebrity to the Benrick cult today"
Failed

Worked all day, 12-3 6-finish and got my bike back on my break from oxford, nothing overly special tbh, apart from some CUNT stole my back light and had another adventure with matt and his car ha

Today
"Today, Pretend to be a secret agent"
Half passed ... little to say theres now no page left

Woke up at 6am, as planned ... although didnt actually get up till half 10, fail but day off work, so the snow falling over night didnt bother me to much in that sense although did annoy me as i rather fancyed getting back to the gym and training but other than that had no other real plans
apart from to text a certain someone, which in turn put me in another confused mood this morning, pondering over a very confusing situation but never the less, got my hair cut/butchered and hannah rang with a new plan. The Pub. so headed off to the tandem to see greg hannah and matt in kennington.

Walked most of the way there and wed at the tandem = £5 for a curry and a pint. Win. followed by a Candy Mania, if youve never had one of these its basically a fish bowl filled with everything. literally everything: chocolate and vanilla ice cream, brownies, malteasers, mm's, chocolate stars, twix's, i mean come on! ... still, one spoon and some determination and it was gone :), that and my superpower would be the ability to brain freeze people, this would cripple anyone!

After the pub headed to gregs and watched Die Hard 4.0 This film is nothing short of awesome, as is Bruce Willis, the plots enough to hold all of the insane stunts, like he drives a car into a helicopter and fights an F-15 fighter jet ... and wins, for the forth in the series, its still dam good. After the pure manlyness of this...

Jogged the whole 5 miles home, in the snow, without stoping, in roughly 40 mins, in a t shirt.
Fuck the gym. Bruce Willis and some determination are all you need.

This is not an igloo, This is a MAN FORT (Part Two)

"Today, Insult an alien"
Failed, just had more manly things to do

Work took up the morning and was pretty sweet again, found out its company policy that no staff member can touch the carpark, health and safety is so fucking retarded nowdays, so all the snow is still there, thus no customers tbh so cuppa, breakfast and then moving the HUGE pile of logs to the shed, its manuary, there is no complaining about manly tasks. Then Jogged it down to abingdon to finish the Man Fort which took up the evening, Greg came along to help out and bring some more man power to the table as well, So far heres the progress:

After more beer, more beat down music, a fair amount of rolling snow balls, a lot of patting and digging and a hell of a lot of "thats what she said jokes" later, we sculpting a cock....

Ahhhh yeah, There is a large amount of pictures in this post, but pfftt there awesome none the less but after slowing down traffic again and getting beeped, not once but twice we generally where all frozen, so headed in for a cuppa and mince pies, but it only needs more hollowing out another day to be finished.

Just complete win. :D
xo

This is not an Igloo, This is a MAN FORT

Actually Sundays Post, just pressed save not publish ... but added in the pictures as well
"Today, do a runner"
Failed, ive been a waiter, ha this sucks.

Basically There is not much to say, day spent generally doing chores as its a sunday but did get introduced to The Heavy by jennie, which i think is pretty funky

but the evening consisted of possibley the most manly thing you can do. Me and chris getot half way through building the man fort, with spades, beat downs, a roast dinner, beer and thats what she said jokes literally every 5 seconds but there wasnt one person going past in there cars that didnt slow down to look, ha epic

Ill keep up on the progress tomorrow as im heading back after work to finish it off, but after heading in and attempting to warm up we found these:

Best Fails of 2009 / Best is the cat being kung fu'd getting in the way!

Luckiest people around the world / Best is the creme egg hitting the car!.

but yeah, laters

I’ll Take These Storms Away, Start A Brand New Story

I'm quite tired, so hopefully this will be quick

Yesterday:
"Self Portrait Day"
Passed

i cant be bothered right now to put the little cartoon picture up, ill do it tomorrow

I'm in a really good mood, which did take me by surprise really, again not going to explain this one really but its just good to be out of the not knowing stage :) , but yeah, in a nutshell was Gregs birthday, which was a rather big adventure and just a really good night. Spoons (tuborg), Three Goats (Alpine), Gloc (JD and Coke) and Pt (...urrmm... yeah), don't think theres a better combination. Honestly though, if you weren't there,
A) you should of drunk a can of ... (MAN THE FUCK UP) and braved the snow
B) you dont deserve details, just to live with the fact that "you missed out" so instead heres some quotes that wont make any sense to you

"Turtles reproduce far quicker than anything else"
"I walked into a parked car" " What hailey"
"Dump her, Record it, Upload it to Youtube"
"Try doing it after you've had a wank. You've got no hope"

Today:
"Things you will never do before you die"
Ill fill in just how many things ill never do before i die tomorrow.

Recovery generally fits the whole day if I'm honest, along with lack of sleep, epic treks in the snow, lots of tea, food at any given opportunity. Although work was fun, got there made a cuppa, made breakfast, breakfast being a Huge BLT and read the paper for 2 hours. i got payed to do literally that, love my life. Again here's some quotes to keep you going

"Look, There's Chris's balls" "Woah there huge"

....

My memorys gone, followed by a huge arsed yawn, so i think heading to bed's the best option right now

Im a Bulletproof Tiger

Today, Let Benrik Stamp Your Passport
Failed.

My computer specifically told me, right at the begining that my webcam wouldnt work on vista, because its to old now. i didnt listen. i will prove it wrong. ill make it work. it will work. or else, there is a big fuck off hammer in arms reach, so ill win no matter what.

Moving on, todays been sweet, work was empty, so instead of moping around the kitchen, headed off with Matt (assistant manager) to B&Q in his 1 wheel drive fiesta ha, to get sand and a shovel for the pub. this was nothing short of epic. Our mini adventure including: getting stuck just about everywhere (this is why i came along, to push), hand brake turns, serious drifting, classic songs on full volume and he then bought a fork instead of a spade. he may be a secret genious at times but he is a ledgend.

After getting back went to tackle the computer head on. downloading every update, and sorting out the usual shit that clogs it the fuck up after a while, you can see i was bored until Chris headed over and we had a usual chris and chris session, ;) of Zero Punctuation
(New Episode), and had a new music session with a twist, as chris's music taste is a little heavyer than mine, Got Introduced to:

Bring me the Horizon,
A day to remember, currently liking the piano solo in "The Price We Pay" as this is as far down the album as ive got, if greg is reading this now ive made it as long as possible to waste at least 5 more seconds of his life before asking him very politly to Learn it :P
Evergreen Terrace is the Personal Favorite so far with
"Im a BulletProof Tiger"

We did attempt to hit up the snow again, but its turned icey, still looks all pretty but wont stick and is generally no fun anymore, gutted, so much for theres always tomorrow but he headed back and continuing the new music trend, listened to this. i love it, so Enjoy .... or else ... :P

Invent me a Time Machine?

Last few days have been rediculously good :) this is pretty much 3 storys rammed into one, so its going to look uber long when it really isnt, (what she said) but hey ho

im attempting to follow a book called "This Book Will Change Your Life", its a diary and it sets you challenges for each day of the year, this book is a one off, of the best 365 challenges set over the last 6 years its been running, so im going to see how many i can pass, ill give the titles every time i post as its like seeing group names on fb ha

Mon: "Discreetly give the finger to people all day" Passed
got ready for work and found 2 five pound notes in my pocket, this made my day i think ha and celbrating Manuary, Choped wood with an axe, made fire, lifted and moved kegs. but headed over to the boundry house after work to see greg for a catch up, which is always good times, even if the little B***** shotguned going out the plane first, oh gregs coming with if i manage to sort out the static line jump :). original plan was to head to oxford after to see tash but she and others couldnt make it in the end, but felicity and her friend laura came to join and the fun times rolled on till closing. we had the idea to head to abingdon for food, but this idea disapeared about half way as it was INSANLY COLD, so i walked laura home to make sure she got there as she was pretty hammered, then cycled back and headed for bed.

Tues: "Today, Subvert consumer society from within" Fail
Everything else is trivial to the fact it snowed :D there is no real words to describe my face of pure happyness ha, i changed into the 5 year old kid, to which me and everyone else from work went and had a snowball fight outside and laughed whilst watched all the cars get stuck up boars hill, along with the cars a hurst got stuck and a tow truck LOL. finished early because of the heavy snow, changed and headed to the three goats in oxford, cycling in the snow is really fun, well until i fell off in full view of a bus stop load of people. fml but for alpine, maned the fuck up and carryed on ha, got there and said hello to a lovely guy that looked identical to shaun. fml again but rikki, kim, kate, shaun, sam (taylour) and greg where there, fun times rolled onto four candles and babylove with various snowball fights inbetween. good times, then retired and taxied to gregs

Today: "Today, try food that scares you" Fail
Got up about 1ish, hanging... badly, but cuppa and toast helped with this (gregs toast half completes the task i reckon :P jokes) but i currently have no back to my phone? this confused me greatly this morning as i remember everything about the night, just not using my phone? never the less Plan was to head back home through sunningwell, literally jog/walk it, say hello to hattie, then head to abingdon and see chris.
headed out and just wow. i wish i still had my camera, walking through the back roads, like bagley wood, covered in a blanket of white is quite honestly stunning. i miss photography, A lot. whilst having this thought tho, the wind blew and half the lovely white blanket which was covering the trees fell on my face. :/
but jogged it out and came across a poor woman who had sliped in her ford focus off the road. Again Celebrating the month that is Manuary, i pushed the whole 2 ton thing out. on my own. got a lovely thanks and she went on her way, about 100 metres up the road, she got stuck. again. Ha so helped once more.

Got to hatties and had a catch up with an Uber pint of tea and chocolates, oh yes, then after some persuading we headed off to go sleding down the hill in sunningwell, got ready and i decided to do a leap of faith and make a snow angel in the garden, on my front haha ill add the pictures in when she puts them up, but we failed so bad at finding something to use as a sled though, we came up with dustbin lids but they worked far better as shields :) but yeah had uber times on someones snowboard they had brought and basically beasted each other with snow, good times, it was getting dark so never made it to chris's but theres still tomorrow....

Fire, Cuppa and good tv has been the rest of the night. :)

tv was more background noise tho, as i have fuck loads on my mind at the moment, things like from my bank account now being -£12, its been well spent but means no boxing, no climbing a wall and no ex soldier's for the moment, this sucks. the other stuff is nothing im going to write about but is the underlying reason why actually my weeks been shit, infact really shit, you know what, roll on next week.

The kids of tomorrow don't need today, When they live in the Sins of Yesterday

Work was a mission to get up for this morning, but it was worth while in the end as all the best people where on the same shift, good times. Got back in the afternoon and the original plan was to head to hatties for a catch up but being January now i took a look at my room and its been in need of one of those HUGE clean out days for about 6 months, turned out she was waaayy busy anyways so i got cracking. My way out has always been "organised chaos" Definition: "everythings in heaps all over the place, mostly the floor, yet you always know where to find something if you need it", generally speaking im far to lazy to clean up but i managed it in the end and i rather like it when you adventure into an area of your room you forgot even existed and stumble across long lost things, my prize find, Bop it extreme :D

Ive caught up on the last of Doctor who as well (yeah im a geek) but im disappointed to see David Tennat go as the doctor, he's leaving the show so gets killed off, the episode was a bit of a let down tbh. Its no where near as well written as the last series finale, but if you watch you'll know he regenerates, so theres a new doctor on the way for the spring, i dont really know what to make of him yet but the trailer looks fucking awesome, so we shall see

But the festivities over, now being 2010, and a new decade, its really time to get on it now, still had a retard moment and wrote 2009 when dating something at work, but im so not the only one thats going to do this ha, but I'm really excited about this year, nervous at the same time i think as its going to be one huge leap, this time next year i could be a full fledged soldier, thats a scary thought, but im determined to go for it and make the most of it what ever happens,

plans for the coming months are pretty much:

  • Go back to training with the soldiers on wednesday

  • Try and get onto the Rock climbing course, now the brookes Centre has re-opened, its a month long course for novice's ha, to introduce you to everything

  • Head back to Boxing, just to learn offensive tactics for milling

  • Going for the interview at the end of the month for the army, regardless

  • With last pay check im hopeing to go do a static line jump at Raf Brize Norton, same as ill have to do if i make it past the physical fitness, to anyone who doesnt know what it is, its basically a line ... you know what, heres a quick video :)

If all this goes to plan its set to be an amazing start to the year, so this is what im going to be up to the next couple of days planning, so no time like the present

Bring on 2010

This is the best New Years Eve by far :D

Again being the first of the month and the festive season its going to be a long one, but again fuck it, it was an amazing night out and i dont really fancy trying to walk around just yet, so this kills time quite nicely :)

The entire plan came together and i Got back from work (i say work was just listening to radio 1 with the countdown of the best of the decade the whole time ha) and Headed off to Oxford to meet Talia and Pennington to then head off to London, for the fireworks :D:D i brought a lot of the alcohol from the mini store i have from Christmas and they had vodka and orange, which in all honesty is the worst thing I've drunk in a while, but never the less we all got rather merry on the Oxford Tube there, on the back row of course, listening to RATM, good times

Only bad thing was being a bit of a third wheel, i thought more where coming along but melissa had already gotten to london on the train and chloe was there as well, didn't mind as such, as the couple are dam awesome, its just you really have to be bit care full, most people will know what i mean, but made it that little bit worse when talking about old times the topic of one of mine and Harry's drunken nights came up, also known as the "wine incident".

I've known they liked each other for ages talking to them both but i didnt know till yesterday that harry asked her out that night and she said no, quite obviously, but then after considered never going out with him because of how bad he was. god did i feel guilty being half the bad influence of that night, i dont drink anything near as much nowadays so wasn't to worried about about London as such, did keep the stash away from mr pennington but it was a shuddering reminder of the summer and general bad times :/ but there lovely and happy nowadays so :)

but yeah next was trying to go for a wee, ha rather tipsy. now this can be a challenge at the best of times, a moving bus add's a whole new element, i managed it, was rather proud then he broke suddenly and i fell into the hand dryer, everyone heard me on the bottom row and there was no way i could cover it up ha fml.

Instant i saw Marble Arch though the excitement truely hit home, LOONNNDDDOON :D, next on our travels was the underground, which confused us greatly by this point, to ellie's flat, who was one of talia's friends, her flat is epic, in word. ellie was really nice as well but your typical daddy's girl with the posh accent to match, i was amused by this but was really waiting for an OMG to complete the look but unfortunately it never came ha, she had another party to go to near paddington and was leaving for south America for 6 months the next day so we headed back to the tube to go our separate ways.

Our travels lead us to Trafalgar Square next, it was so busy but relaxed at the same time, made the atmosphere amazing and all the lights where still up so it was just plain awesome :D we headed off to see another one of talia's friends Sarah, she was with about 5 others and we decided to head off and find food/off license, we found Spoons, smaller than the one in oxford so it was RAMMED, got drinks, had a laugh etc finished up and everyone headed off back out for a fag break, to which a little gem poped up, we where taking photos and a police lady poped and said "ILL DO IT" so this was the result :D

i got the southern comfort out instead however this is where it got taken off us, some idiot walked into me and one of the group as we where walking off and the police officer (different one) took it as being us as i had the drink in my hand. sucks. but we went our separate ways and headed to find the fireworks

you needed to be majorly early to get the river bank and most places where now fenced off as it was getting late but we came to st Jame's park and a quick boost over the 8ft fence and i was there, probably wasnt necessary at all as the other two found an entrance not 10 metres away but it was fun none the less and i would have never found the police radio on the floor. this was epic, but we got a really good spot to see the fireworks, we did miss the countdown unfortunatlly and there was no midnight kiss ha but we could see almost all of the london eye, only a small building covering up the bottom which made no real difference, so good and so worth while, but heading back we made the most of the police walkie talkie getting people to shout happy new years down it along with lots of over and outs ha i knew you had to press the button before you talked so we wherent causing any harm but everyone else was none the wiser ha and we found two others heading to oxford in the process, megan and someone else so they tagged along as well.

Got to Buckingham palace, and i popped it in my pocket forgetting about it as we went up past the fountains, was really good as i think we covered all the sight seeing spots as well ha but didnt really think anything of the fact there was fuck loads of police there and i walked past two of them and the radio went off, they stoped me and i nearly got put in a cell for theift. wouldnt have been a good start to the year :S. but explained we found it and handed it in with lots of apologies and carryed on our merry way to the bus stop. rather lucky escape. took us a while to get back as most of the buses where full and kept going past, but got back in the end, about 4-5am? got chicken and chips, then taxi home. i was tempted to check out the PT etc but knew i had work tonight so, but the taxi guy was a proper dude and dtook me back for normal prices instead of doubling it as it was new years. so spent only about £30 all night.

Epic. :D:D:D

but im heading to the shower, as everyone downstairs has found the karaoke machine, it sounds like cats being drowned at the best of times which is pretty funny, im yet to have a go but with a hangover its actually painfull,

so laters
